Gitu Bharati Gitu Bharati,who goes by the pen name (Git) was born and brought up in Assam. She obtained her bachelor degree in Economics Honours at Rabindranath Tagore University, currently she is pursuing her MA in economics. "Lights from a Dark Mind" is her first book,but she fell in love with books at a very young age and never recovered. Today she is pursuing her dream of being a published poetress in between the multitudinous demands of adult life. When she has a free moment, she enjoys writing, reading a book, listening music and has also an interest in travelling.
