Author's Name: Vaidehi Gajjar About the Author: Vaidehi Gajjar is a creative based in Washington D.C. currently working as a project coordinator for the United States Defense Health Agency. She began her writing journey almost a decade ago, with no professional experience, but simply a will to share her story and words. As time went on, she progressed from sharing her writing on social media to becoming a full blown journalist, featuring in publications such as the Washington Post, Yahoo Lifestyle, Business Insider, and others. Vaidehi also represents the South Asian community in partnership with McLean Hospital and Harvard Medical School as part of a campaign called Deconstructing Stigma. An excerpt of her story can be found on a billboard at Boston International Airport. She has also been a co-author for many anthologies, and is currently working on her own book of poetry, which will hopefully release Summer 2022.
