It is common knowledge that more than 50% of teachers leave the profession within the first 5 years of teaching. It wasn’t until my fifth year when I felt the burnout. It scared me. So...I wrote, and I shared it. I didn’t know, but many in my life, and many not in my life, had also been feeling the slump, but didn’t quite know how to put it into words without feeling...violated.
