To some extent. Every person, plant, animal or thing knows that in order to create the perfect recipe. There are a couple key ingredients needed. Now whether it's passed down to a new generation or along the way you experiment and create something entirely new. With the correct ingredients something great can happen. Appropriately named "Late Nights On Venus." Kewayne Wadley attempts to highlight the aphrodisiac of alone time with your significant other, as it is in these moments we discover not just the best of ourselves but perhaps a thing or list of things that we adore about our special someone. No matter how quirky or offbeat. Whether it's the way they laugh, the way they make us feel, or a combination of all of these beautiful things. How we express ourselves sometimes can appear one sided when coupled with the stress of a long day at work and all you want to do is sleep or our thoughts end up getting the better of us. Regardless the case, you cannot wish these things away, & often times we cannot get a redo. From experience I've learned that the perfect moment to say "babe I am sorry." Or "aww babe, come here." Hardly ever comes, you have to just do it.
This is why It's important to live in the moment and let your person know how much you love them and how much you appreciate them. I believe this is what makes "Late Nights On Venus" what it is as it's primary focus is intimacy however lighthearted it may come off. There are a few themes and expressions that go beyond that within the poems found in this anthology. In addition to "Listening to Songs at Midnight" & Following it's immediate predecessor "More Songs to Listen to at Midnight."
"Late Nights On Venus" is an extension of all of these emotions put into a quirky yet fun compilation.

Understanding and comprehension is key, even while in the moment it's important to remember that not everyone may think the same way that we do and although well intended. Sometimes what we say or do could be misinterpreted and taken to heart.
