The word "kvetch" has its origin in the Middle High German and, the Yiddish. If you look for its meaning you'll find 'to complain habitually' or at least that’s the dictionary definition. But that doesn’t quite capture what kvetching is and its purpose. Kvetching does indeed mean to complain, but kvetching accomplishes so much more than that; it is an art form. The book tries to capture the author's bellyaches about life into an art form - poetry.
