Author's Name: Anna (Span) Streatfeild About the Author: Span (she/they) is an Autistic Creative who is passionate about writing. She has been struggling with anxiety and depression her whole life. In 2020 Span got an Autism diagnosis. This Label has changed her outlook on her mental health. Highlighting her differences as something more than an disorder, more than a chemical imbalance in her brain. Neurodiversity is a term Span has come to adore and relate heavily too, accepting that her experience of life is different, that she is existing within a society that was not built with her best interests in mind. Span is dedicated to self kindness and Expression. Span wrote a lot of these poems before her Autism Diagnosis and a few of them afterwards.
