Description of the Book:
In life, we make efforts (Koshish), and if you think about it, that's the only thing we can do, the only thing we have control over. Efforts are made in every situation, and they don't necessarily have to be right or wrong, and even the outcomes don't have to be so. So why do we put in effort? It's simple; we put in efforts because of love, the singular catalyst driving our actions. Many times, our efforts go unnoticed, and most of the time, they are unrewarded. Such is the nature of endeavor; it demands no expectations if one wishes to be at peace. Efforts even lead to an interesting sense of curiosity; sayings like, 'If you won't try, you'll never know,' are common parlance, and hold true. So we're caught in this weird paradox: we are to have no expectations when making efforts, but we wish to know the consequences of our efforts. Funny, isn't it? But I guess this pretty much sums it up. These set of poems are just that, about efforts (Koshish), expectations, and curiosity for everything.
