About the Author: Born in the Borough of Bronx, New York City, Rudy however, was raised in Bridgeport, Connecticut. As the youngest middle child, he found himself with a lot of free time. He first got the taste for writing poetry in the third grade, when he wrote about the relationship he had with his favorite toy. As he grew older he started to take his writing more seriously. Inspired by hip-hop artists like Nas, Jay-Z, Kanye West and Lupe Fiasco, he found himself writing songs and learning the mechanics of a bar. As natural progression would have it, he started to grow and mature in his writing style.
