Author's Name: Peter Van Werkhoven About the Author: Peter Van Werkhoven was born on the East Coast of Queensland, Australia, and grew up in a large house with his seven siblings where he discovered his love of writing. In November 2012, fuelled by his love of writing and encouraged by family, he participated in National Novel Writing Month, an open challenge for all to write 50,000 words in 31 days. He completed in time and finished with his first novel, "The Story of Silence". The following year he self-published the novel, and in November 2013 he wrote a sequel, titled "Of Lights and Shadows", which the following year he published.
