Description of the Book:

This assortment of poems attempts to express the writer’s observations about a wide range of things, people, and events unfolding around her constantly. The words have been sewn to paint pictures of places, conversations and associations. They speak of hope and goodwill in the wake of disease and despair. The poems also touch the realm of plants and animals such as her pet fish, a caterpillar, forests and trees. They delve into the intangible nature of our dreams, near us, yet so far away. The writer takes us through parts of her home such as her kitchen and balcony and spells out what they mean to her. The book is reminiscent of her childhood memories, of those departed and how she never really lets them go. It details the many roles she plays. She has faith in the powers of the universe. She doesn't hide her vulnerabilities and calls on whoever is listening.
