Description of the Book:
The book is divided into sections of poetry from different genres. Most of the poems are personal experiences of the author which have inspired her or affected her in ways that led her to such poetic elucidation.
The book is named Implicit Thoughts as the poems included in this are the unexpressed thoughts which have only been shared for the first time in this book. The readers will find poems written about love which is more or less a feeling experienced by all; some of these writings will speak openly about death which is not quite discussed. Also the book talks about the struggles of the people guarding our country in the most adverse conditions; about the problems faced by the LGBTQ community and how they are still not freely accepted in India. The author strongly feels that men’s sacrifices are less talked about and that many of them are fighting inner battles that never come to light; hence some of the poems are dedicated to them. Also, many women have to face a lot because they can’t conceive a child; but is being mother the only identity of a woman?
Widows in our society are also looked down upon still in this 21st century and it deeply feels unfair so they have also found a place in the writings of the author.
This book basically talks about the miseries of various sections of people, wants to give hope to the depressed; aims at lessening suicides and also aims to establish humanism in this world. This books want to spread love and unity among each and every individual and to help people embrace the differences.
The author through her work salutes every individual for keeping on with this life irrespective of the personal struggles each one of us are facing!
