This book has seen everything -- The nights I cried over my laptop while typing through blurry vision. The days I felt all right for once, when the words flowed out of my good side. It has seen my bouts of arrogance, my fits of insecurity. It has seen all of me, even the ugliest parts, and showed me myself in return.
The poems with this book experiment with structure and formatting. Some experiment with the power and capacity of words, how they can create an image that is rich and beautiful. These poems cover topics ranging from dementia to heartbreak and childbirth. In the process of reading this book, I hope that you will learn something about yourself, just like I did.
