Description of the Book:
Poem book by Nicola Wood.
Around 15% of the global population has a disability. Unfortunately, disabilities are still stigmatized and individuals struggle on a daily basis with challenges.
I have written about the challenges which I and so many others face in this book and I hope reading these poems, can resonate with you. I hope the individual, family member, or friend can relate to these poems and know that there are people out there who just need to be accepted for who they are and not defined by their condition.

Author's Name: Nicola Wood About the Author: I am a children's author with a debut book 'Compost the Cat.' Since birth, I have had a variety of disabilities including hearing impairment, and dyspraxia, and am currently suffering from long covid. I have faced a few challenges in my life but otherwise, I wouldn't be where I am today. I work in childcare, currently working with children and families with a range of disabilities and long-term health conditions.
