When Ella Williams was 8 years old she defiantly declared "I Hate Poetry". In an attempt to change Ella's opinion about poetry, Ella's mother challenged her to write twenty-one poems in twenty-one days. The poems that eventuated from participating in this challenge give us wonderful insight into Ella's creative, intelligent and deeply, thoughtful mind. The preface explains how Ella's parents encouraged and supported her during this challenge.
