Description of the Book:
"I Found a Poem" contains poems penned on various occasions and at several times. There is not one single theme or subject that might distinguish them as a class. If one poem is on a character we meet in our daily lives, another is about meta-literature, trying to capture the dramatic genesis of a poem. Socio-political impressions also mark a poem; while one attempts to take the readers on a dream journey and another seeks to make them confront the stark reality of contemporary existence. Though the poems are apparently simple, most of them either well-detailed or vividly picturesque, they take the reader along in an engaging process. As a poem progresses, the character or the emotion delightfully emerges from the piece, imparting the satisfaction of having perceived the wholeness of the portrayal.

Author's Name: ANKUR GOSWAMI About the Author: Ankur Goswami is an Assistant Professor of English, a soft skills and communication skills trainer, research scholar and a poet by passion. He acquired his Masters Degree in English in 1999 from Tezpur University, which is a central university in Assam, India. Ankur maintains a blog of his poems called Poetry and Feelings. His poems on social media platforms have been well-received. Three of his poems have been anthologized in the collection entitled Rendezvous of Words, published by Today and Tomorrow's Printers and Publishers, where he found room alongside poets from India and abroad.
