Description of the Book:
Adrienne Rich once described 'revision' as "the act of looking back, of seeing with fresh eyes, of entering an old text from a new critical direction". She said that for women, revision is "more than a chapter in cultural history: it is an act of survival.” These poems are my way of looking back with fresh eyes. They may not match what I considered to be my truth back then, but they are where my stories meet me now.
