Description of the Book:
 
Simply, this collection of poems is an exploration of growth, of all the things that have changed in the last four years to make me who I am now. But with growth, comes pain, along with the uncomfortable feeling of being unsure and needing to figure out all the newness that comes with growing up. Although this collection is specific to me as a person, many aspects that have altered my life have likely changed others’ as well. Whether it be death, issues with addiction, or a fresh start - we all have growing pains.

This collection explores who I am today - my journey as a writer, a daughter, and a friend; the triumphs and faults of becoming my own person.
