Description of the Book:
 
My mother and I shared a love of the ocean. This grief journey of her illness and passing, and their aftermath, remind me of the ebb and flow of the tide, and how sometimes the force behind it carries far more weight than we realize. A wave can blind us and knock us down, batter us and steal our breath. But it can also comfort and bless us.

Grief is its own ocean. This collection is my effort to stay afloat.
