Description of the Book:
This book is an attempt to paint out something real and raw which we sense everyday but choose to overlook; i.e. our feelings.
We have become so accustomed to living in restrained environs that we often forget to let our hearts feel or breathe. And even when one of us tries to express the plethora of emotions, to truly breathe, they are pulled back to the confinement of selective feeling by those in their immediate milieu.
For me, the act of consistently putting my thoughts into words is akin to breathing. It was the grey musings of my mind and the raw blues of my feelings that I chose even when I had a rainbow in front of me.
These 20 poems are the collection of different stages of my life and different versions of me as I grew up/ felt too much/ fell down/ looked after/ went back/ left unattended/ felt nothing but then eventually loved.
This space helped me feel and helped me breathe, in the most natural way of existing as a being who gets hurt, happy, anxious, sad and loved. For being a person who is supposed to feel as much as he/she breathes. I hope it helps you breathe too.
Grey part of Blue
