Description of the Book:
 
Ebbs and Flows is a collection of 21 poems, centering the bitter- sweet journey of a young girl from adolescence to adulthood.

From Muffins and cups cakes,
The playful days, the tiffin breaks,
Through the 3am pillows soaking heart breaks,
To the lonely walk by the shallow lakes,
Days turn into months, months into years,
Amidst guffaw and tears,
Yet, no wonder,we try to drift a lil' further
Competing with our fears,
Trying to surpass,
And then, finally look back
Only to find, we've already lost a part of us!
Whatever gonna be the next day,
We are left with a camouflaged 'yay'!

The verses in this book, are a culmination of few of the various circumstances that a person faces during teens or early adulthood, and the perspective of the world through his/her eyes, as well as few experiences during this journey!

Indeed, how time flies!
In the blink of an eye,
Be it the petals of a rose, or the thorns,
Saying cheers to the new day,
We've to bid a goodbye,
To our old way!
Perhaps, the future may be brighter,
Who can say!

Besides, the verses portray few ephemeral ties, but...
'.. at the end
The soul is sauntered by
A thousand waves
Of the words that remain
Unuttered,
Or, the letters that remain unsend!'

In a nut shell, the book is about journey, growth, transition from one stage of life to the next, through ups and downs, through "ebbs and flows"!
