Description of the Book:
 
You know those moments in life when you feel you have lost it all, and there just seems to be no way to get out?

All of us have been there. All of us have felt those intense, surreal emotions that often transcend the limits of understanding. Those emotions aren't easy to describe; they can only be felt.

Those emotions are what I've tried to capture through these poems, when I was going through them in my life. When I was feeling lost, I wrote "The Moon's Deceit." When a friendship came tumbling down, I wrote the poem, "What was it?" And when I woke up early one morning, and saw the magic that happens at dawn, I penned down, "The Fire In the Skies."

All these poems are a reflection, a mirror of our reality, through the magical realms of poetry. That's why the title, "A Diamond in the Rough." Because every one of these moments of emotion, of real, raw feelings is a sign of our humanity, and of the power and potential that is within us.

Every hard, challenging moment of life is an opportunity to polish a little more of ourselves and shine like the diamonds we're truly meant to be. Every poem signifies those moments when we're in "the rough" and is a step towards becoming a diamond.

That's how I felt, and how I transformed, as I wrote each one of these 21 poems, and I hope you feel that too!
