When a harsh winter gives way to delightful spring, these quaint flowers blossom and remind us of fresh starts and second chances; for where flowers bloom, so does hope. This anthology of poems from my heart strives to be an embodiment of the same. It is also my mother's name, which is why it is all the more significant and dear to me.

Author's Name: Sara Thomas About the Author: I discovered my passion for writing as a young girl. Writing a book of poems was always on my bucket list, and ultimately, with Diadem of Daisies, it became a reality. As a child, I always had my nose buried in a book and daydreamed about unleashing my creativity someday. My faith in God and my family are most important to me. I consider myself a certified cat lover and animal sympathizer; building an animal shelter for the homeless, weak, sick and abandoned fur babies that share our beautiful world is one of the most cherished dreams on my bucket list. Accompanying my father and the rest of our family on his many diplomatic assignments during his long stint as an IFS officer gave me opportunities to travel to different parts of the world and study in several international schools. It enabled me to gain a fresh, global perspective and an open-minded appreciation and understanding of other cultures. Although I aspired to be a veterinarian, life had other plans in store for me. After completing my 12th grade in New Delhi, I went on to pursue my Master of Arts in English as well as a Bachelor of Education in English. My love for English and the pure exhilaration I feel while losing myself in the pages of a good book prompted me to become an English teacher. It's a responsibility I enjoy and value.
