Description of the Book :
One woman’s journey into body trust, sensuality and wild self-love.
This collection of poems explores the impact of internalized misogyny and body distrust on society as a whole, but particularly women. From unraveling the generational impact of fear, faith and colonialism, to exploring the individual impact of body shame and dogmatic language, Bentum offers a bold critique rooted in her own experiences as a young woman in the Christian faith, in missions and in bed. She offers readers an unflinching look into her journey through danger and love.
