Crossing Over is a collection of poetry that follows a couple embarking upon the American Dream. Told through the eyes of their daughter, Crossing Over follows the couple as they leave their native Germany to build both a life and a legacy in America. They not only cross over an ocean, but they also cross over into a new country, a new language, a new culture, and new opportunities as they pursue their dream to live a happy and fulfilled life in America.
