This is a collection of poems written by Dyon the Poet, over the past 10-15 years. Some poems are the devastating fears of a confused teenager. Others depicted the purest of love and happiest of times. You may come across a poem written by a newly grief stricken adult trying to process losing a parent. Author's Name: Adrienne Matlock About the Author: Adrienne R Matlock, better known as, Dyon the Poet, was born near Detroit MI in a little lake town called Port Huron. As a child Dyon's father served in the United States Coast Guard allowing her to see and experience the vast majority of the United States, including living in Alaska, by the age of 18. As a result she was exposed to different cultures and began to express that through writing and performing. Stories and poems became a way to explore and express emotions and ideas. As an LGBT+ youth, Dyon also used writing as a tool to understand herself and others. Today Dyon lives in Oklahoma City,Oklahoma. Working as an artist and entertainer.
