Description of the Book:
Closer than the Breath. This is a collection of 30 poems close to my heart. They are about positivity and hope. Our inner voice is always ahead of us. It tells you a thousand things and can take you to a thousand places within seconds. It also helps you survive challenging situations. The inner witness as many call it, has the capacity to be your best friend and a companion. One of the poems describes the same. Before you breath in those sad tears, and before you laugh out loud in happy tears, your inner witness will make sure that you will survive that moment. That is because it is closer to our being than our breath. Somehow while submitting the first draft, system auto selected this name for the book. I liked it. Hope readers like it too. Poetry means rhythm. When 2 or more people share the same rhythm, they share a space of happiness and they feel connected. That is why singing in a group, eating in a group or cheering in a group makes the bond stronger. In these difficult days, I wish they give you some ray of hope and faith.
