Description of the Book:
The human mind is a marvel of all creations, for it creates, destroys, breaks and gets broken all at the same time. The unfathomable ability to think, feel, create, and respond probably left a sense of awe in the mind of every poet, for that is what bleeds onto paper.
Every moment, every incident throughout life guides us to believe that the journey has more leverage than the destination. Seldom is it understood that the journey is but a facade if travelled with mere oblivion. Like a cocoon, slowly building itself to span the sky with dainty wings, Chrysalis is an epiphany to building oneself and an eulogy to all the broken bits which deserves to be embraced with open arms.
This lifetime of ours is nothing less than a journey, but the light to life lies in the chapters within. The journey does pave the way, but the effort to walk the path deserves appreciation everyday. Not everything that is scattered is broken. Light scatters, and the result is a benevolent appease of striking seven colours. Accepting those parts that are less likeable is a valiant venture, because without that, we are nothing but colour-blind rainbows.
These poems are an ode to mankind and its nature. An ode to falling down, getting up, building, breaking, breathing, smiling, evolving and existing.
This collection is a dedication to all the brave hearts out there who had the courage to embrace the not-so-beautiful parts of their own self and ardently pulled everything together despite the lack of appreciation.
This is an ode to becoming.
