Author's Name: Regina Lewis-Cox About the Author: I am a 49 yr old mother from South Alabama. I grew up in a small town located just east of Dothan, Alabama where you knew everyone you came across from wither school or church. Growing up in a small town especially my teenage years didn't give us much to do so it was then that I began writing and fell in love with how descripted you could make any story through poetry. I was blessed to have been given the gift of two children which completed me and helped me find the direction in life I was intended to go. unfortunately I just lost my oldest son to a medical emergency this year on February 5th, 2023. So i have a lot to say again as I write and add to the legacy I will one day leave for my grandchildren and those who know and love me. Poetry is one of the truest forms of emotions and it has definitely gotten me through so many of life's unexpected lessons. I hope to write for the remainder of my life and I can only pray my words heal, comfort and help others make sense of those emotions they may have found themselves feeling without understanding. My Life hasnt brought many wordly possessions appraised as valuable but my words are the one thing I value as priceless and I hope they live on in others once I am gone.
