Description of the Book:

Bones Beneath the Gardens is an intimate collection of poetry. Some sad, some hopeful, others about love, some about death, and many about growing up queer. Specifically, the personal experiences of the author's life. From a deer born onto a battlefield, a man who woes for his ex-lover, and a hunter surviving, there is always an air of discontentment, but hope is notable and vast throughout the book.

Be warned, some topics aren't savory and not suitable for all audiences. Alcohol, self-harm, depression, the sort are covered in this book.

  • Author's Name: Ian McNaughton

About the Author: Ian McNaughton is a medical worker based in Illinois, USA. Self-described as a "Go-with-the-flow kinda guy," and someone who only seeks to be comfortable. Growing up queer, ultimately coming out as pansexual, his views on the world are colored, if not a little jaded. He hasn't written much poetry but is looking forward to his debut book being the start of something new. With any luck poetry can break the monotony of bed alarms and fallen geriatrics.
