Description of the Book:
Bluest Water at the River Crossing is a collection of haunting and poignant poetry about grief, trauma, growth, and the sufferings of ordinary people. The poet's observations on our grim and bleak contemporary world push and stretch the boundaries of our lived experiences. Moments of terror and heart-rents in the poems are interspersed with unexpected beauty and poignancy. Some of the verses throw light on the human plight with an invocational vision. As the book's title suggests, one can see clearly what one leaves behind at the crossing. The poet extends the metaphor of the book's title in some of the poems by drawing from the people's collective memories and experiences. The poet not only deals with heavy themes but also with healing, forgiveness, and nature.
