Author's Name: Marie Stanfill About the Author: Marie Stanfill is a writer and Mental Health Coach based out of Cincinnati, Ohio. This collection of poetry was written with the hopes of assisting others in recognizing that they are not a product of the trauma for which they've sadly endured. Being that her abuse began as a young child, she turned to writing as a safe form of sharing the nightmares she experienced. While her writings spanned many journals, poetry always seemed to be her most prized form of expression. By the time that she was 17-years-old, she had written more than 120 poems; all of which were destroyed in one of her Father's rages. Once she had slain the demons that tried to devour her, she was free to allow her feelings, and emotions flow once again.
