Author's Name: Molly Maharaj Pinto About the Author: Molly Maharaj Pinto was born in Durban, South Africa, in the summer of 1960. One of Molly’s fondest childhood memories is walking hand in hand with her father to the local library to pick out books. Young Molly was as much a bookworm as she was a storyteller. She wrote her first short story in primary school called ‘A Spider on My Dress’. The story was so popular with her peers and teachers that it made it onto the school’s noticeboard for all to see. Molly’s curiosity as a child would become the cornerstone of her poetry as an adult. Her work is both hopeful and woefully raw in its pursuit of compassion, courage and critical thought. Molly is a firm believer in having no regrets. In the author's words, 'there are no accidents'.
