About the Author: Michelle is a published author, freelance writer, and playwright. Her novel, Precious little Secrets, was named one of Tallahassee’s Best Beach Reads. Her play, Wild Refuge, received the Audience Award at the 2006 National PlayFest. She has written over 50 articles, dozens of grants, and hundreds of documents. Michelle has finished her second novel, Color-Blinded—Angel in the Mourning Rise. She is an artist, actor, and director. Michelle graduated from Leadership Tallahassee and Leadership Florida and was named one of Tallahassee’s 2025 "25 Women You Need to Know." She holds a bachelor's and master's degree and is a doctoral student.
