About the Author: They say, "We don't read and write poetry because it's cute........poetry, beauty, romance, love, these are what we stay alive for." Poetry was my means of escaping the mundane reality and the curse of anxiety. I was a child who believed (and still believes) in magic and fairytales and that words weave magic that guides us into the afterlife. And this is the forever that I beautify in my poems - a forever of promised kindness to myself.
