Description of the Book:
 
Don't we all want to be unique, yet not be alone in our experiences? Don't we all have times when we just want to be understood and not have to explain every single feeling? This book is my collection of soulful and comforting poems for those times when one just needs a hug and someone to just get them.
'Aurora' refers to dawn- my hope is that this book is a ray of sunshine in every difficult moment in life. At the same time, aurora is characterized by a plethora of colors in sky, similar to life. Life is filled with a broad range of emotions, and in our struggle to making it through days, we forget to stop and appreciate the moments. Sometimes those emotions are too difficult to process, and all one needs is to feel a little bit more understood in this constant rat race.
We spend an enormous amount of effort in running away from emotions, whereas acceptance of how we feel gives us a huge amount of power in a constantly changing world. This book is a spectrum of emotions, a spectrum of feelings and I wrote some of these poems during the darkest moments in my life. They gave me comfort and hope, and my dream is to share the same understanding with you.
Poetry and all forms of art are what we, as humans, live for. They are sources of finding some meaning in this infinite world - within our small worlds, we create our own infinities. Within our finite words, we express a huge magnitude of emotions. And within our expressions, we find ways to connect with people from far and wide. This book is a tool of belonging, of connection, of love, and of everything fuzzy and warm that makes life worth all its suffering.
This book is a journey of feelings. A journey ranging from fear to love, from feeling alone to feeling belonged, from hellos to goodbyes.
