Description of the Book:
‘Among Lotuses I Grow’ is a collection of poems which resonate ideas of exploring identity through emotions known and unknown. The characters in the book ageing in their teens and twenties figure out infatuations, mundane existences, sexuality, love, pain and growth in their varying experiences. They break and bind into stronger, more mature and evolved versions of themselves.
Covering a broad range of themes and questions which plague discovery of oneself, these poems are written in lyrical and narrative rhyme. See yourself in the shoes of these characters and find yourself evolving gradually through their rich and dull encounters. It’s a must have collection for anyone who enjoys a good poem.
“Some may warm your heart
Some may delight you
Some may prick at your brain
Some may incite you
But one thing is for sure
O Reader, do listen!
A gamut of responses
These poems will elicit!”
