Description of the Book:
 
Since humans have walked the Earth, there has been war. Conflict has touched even the farthest corners of the world. There are endless contributions to acknowledge and memorialize. It is through remembrance that history remains alive. If veterans’ stories are not woven into our very social fabric, we risk reducing their brave actions to mere footnotes in history books.

The book is divided into three sections: Past, Present, and Future. The poems within each cover a range of topics and reveal the varying, and often complicated, emotions associated with remembrance.
