Description of the Book:
vulnerability is rare nowadays, and If you don't know what vulnerability is here's a chance to read some vulnerability poetry. I wrote these poems in some of my deepest, darkest, and fragile moments. It seems like being human is only when we are having fun and happy but even are bad days and not so pretty moments still make us human. well, here is all of me, and not just the me worthy enough to post on social media. I cry, I get depress, I get sad, and I get angry just as much as I smile. I reflect over the things that take away my smile and start the healing processing so I can smile again. That's when I learned that you need bad days just as much as you need the good ones, to appreciate the good one. I hope everyone find space safe enough to be just as vulnerable as the safe space I found in poetry.

Author's Name: Keis Queen About the Author: I always thought I was the one to break the family curse. I had moved out of my hometown and went to college. I got married and made it past 18 years old without having any children. I have never been in a domestic violence relationship like all the women in my family. I also didn’t fall victim to hard drugs, alcohol, or mental health. In my mind, I was the one breaking those chains and doing the rewriting of the story. Then recently, I realized it wasn’t me to break the family curse, that there was a greater reason why I was able to do the work needed to grow as a woman. The moment my mother said “I forgive you” to the person who was trying to prolong this generational chain of unhealed women in my family. I realized the curse was already broken, I was just walking in that forgiveness, healing, and growth my mother already had started for me.
