Author's Name: Leilani Silva-Holt About the Author: Australian based writer Leilani, is a proud solo mother of two small children. She has a Maori/Samoan mother, and a Hispanic (Chilean) father. Leilani is a woman of very many talents, and when it comes to writing, she draws inspiration from her personal experiences as well as what she's observed. Leilani's colourful upbringing, her world travels, and the nature around her, are also sources of inspiration. Leilani currently works in Education, and her role is to maximise learning outcomes for indigenous Australian and Maori/Pacific Islander secondary students. She does this by embedding culture, and mentoring them for success.
