Description of the Book:
Everyone has at least once been in a place where they can’t understand what exactly they’re feeling. We all try and try and try and then finally resort to a book, to a movie, to a song, or to a poem. It’s in the hope that someone in this world succeeded in locking those beasts of emotions into cages of words. Some people spent their whole life trying to put it into words to make some sense of it. This book is a try at it.
A Figment of Imagination is a book collection of “wishful thinking”, “self-criticism”, “past trauma”, “falling in love”, and “falling apart”. It is about “after-hour agonies” and “the turmoil of thoughts”. This book has a couple of poems that you’ll read and in return, they might read you. All the tossing and turning, the late nights, the heartbreaks, and the regret. It’s the feeling of midnight blue one gets when the ashen grey settles. We all meet ourselves there; it’s a cliché because it’s true.
Hope you find yourself somewhere on these pages.
