Author's Name: Dr S. Barathi About the Author: Dr. S. Barathi is a poet, translator and an Assistant Professor of English at Srinivasa Ramanujan Centre, SASTRA Deemed University, Kumbakonam. She has to her credit numerous research papers published in International refereed and SCOPUS indexed journals. She is keen at translating poems, short stories and novels. Her poems are anthologized in various national and international poetry anthologies. She has translated Mr Jayanti M Dalal’s English Novel Ordeal of Innocence in Tamil titled Arindum Aiyamalum (2017). She has translated Mr. Sundar Rajan’s short story collection Eternal Art in Tamil titled Nithiyak kalai (2018) and another short story collection in Tamil titled Vazhvin Saarangal (2019). She has translated Dr K. V. Dominic’s anthology in Tamil titled Gyanach Chiraguagal (2019). She has translated Jordanian Poet Nizar Sartawi’s poetry anthology My Shadow in Tamil as En Nizhal (2019), Chinese Poet Chen Bolai’s anthology in Tamil as Chennin kavidaigal (2020) and Sangeeta Gupta's Song of Silence in Tamil as Mownathin Geetham (2021), Prime minister Shri Narendra Modi’s Poems in Tamil as Oru Payanam (2021), Poet Rajendar Krishan's Ammas Gospel as Ammavin Bodhanai (2022).
