Description of the Book:
हर व्यक्ति एक वक़्त पर दो जीवन जी रहा होता है। एक वास्तविक जीवन जो दुनिया के कायदे के हिसाब से चल रही होती है, और एक कल्पनात्मक जीवन, जो मन के अंदर चल रहा होता है, अपनी कल्पनाओं में । काल्पनिक जीवन सरल होता है । ये ठीक वैसा ही होता है जैसा हम जीना चाहते हैं । परंतु जब वास्तविकता से अवगत हों तो अवसाद और निराशा की कुंठा मन में बैठ जाती है । मेरी कल्पनाओं में अक्सर एक सुर्ख़ाब पक्षी आता है जिसके सुनहरे पंख मुझे शून्य की ओर ले जाते हैं। शून्यता में सफ़र का अपना मज़ा है, न मंज़िल है, न रुकने की कोई जगह है । अक्सर कलम पकड़े मैं उस शून्य की गहराई में कहीं खो जाती हूँ । उन गहरे सन्नाटों में भावनाओं का किनारा पकड़े, शब्द आपस में कहीं उलझते चले जाते हैं और रुकने का जी नहीं होता । मेरी कविताएँ शब्दों का वो ताना- बाना हैं जो वास्तविक जीवन को कल्पनाओं से जोड़ती हैं । कुछ सुकून में लिखी गयी, कुछ अकेलेपन में, ये कविताएँ एक पुल की तरह हैं, जिस पर खड़े होकर भावनाओं की ओजस्विता को जिया जा सकता है ।
एक रचनाकार हमेशा कल्पनाओं की दुनिया में घूमता रहता है इतना की कभी कभी परिकल्पनाएं सच घटित होती हुई लगने लगती हैं l लिखते लिखते कभी अगर कलम रोकनी पड़ जाए तो ख्यालों के पुलिये का दम घुट जाता है l फिर आगे की लयबद्धता के लिए वापस उतनी ही कल्पनाएँ जीनी पड़ती हैं l
यूँ तो संभावनाओं का कोई अंत नहीं है परंतु जब जीवन में संभावनाएं ख़तम होतीं दिखें, तब दो अश्रु के कण बनकर उभर आयेंगी दृगों में, मेरी स्मृतियों के साथ, मेरी ये कविताएँ, मेरे बीत जाने की घटना के बाद........
"सुर्खाब के पंखों पे मुक्तात के मानिंद,
उड़ती ही रही हूँ मैं खयालात के मानिंद,
दिल का बुतपरस्ती में अज़ब हाल हुआ है,
बिखरे हुए हैं टुकड़े सवालात के मानिंद"
