About the Author: Dr Priyanka Singh is an Assistant Professor of English at Arya Kanya Mahavidyalaya, Shahabad Markanda, Kurukshetra, India and has 19 years of teaching experience. An alumnus of Indraprastha College for Women, University of Delhi, she holds a PhD in English. An avid researcher she is an Associate Fellow at the prestigious Indian Institute of Advanced Study, Shimla working of Haryanvi folksongs. She writes poems, both, in English and Hindi and has published a few of them in Anthologies. Her debut collection of poems in English is titled Search, Sing, Shine.
